Koji Morikawa

Profile

Koji MORIKAWA received his Ph.D in computer science from Nagoya University in 1996. He was also Research Fellowships for Young Scientists from JSPS(Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, He joined Panasonic Corporation and started research in the field of image processing, machine learning, cognitive science, brain science, etc. His current position is a Chief Researcher at Technology Innovation Division, and he is promoting research projects for new materials exploration based on materials informatics. He is a Board Member of JSAI(The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence) from 2017 to 2018.
