*Programme name has been changed from "Young Change Makers+ programme" to "IOC Young Leaders."
The Young Change Makers take initiative in social entrepreneurship activities on themes such as Health & Active Living, Inclusion, Sustainability, and Peace & development, delivering their own projects which leverage the power of sport for a better world.
Aged between 18-25 when nominated by their respective NOCs to attend the YOG, these young leaders include former athletes, students, young sports professionals, and National Olympic Committee staff. Mothusi Ramaabya, a Young Change Maker from Botswana implemented the project 'I can', to encourage people living with special needs and disability, and spread the message that it is possible to be anything that you want in life, regardless of whatever challenges they face and that they should not let it affect their future.
