JIS X 8341-3:2016 Conformance Claim

Panasonic group’s Web sites adopted the W3C(World Wide Web Consortium) Recommendation “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0” as the global quality standards to make our websites more accessible.
On this page, the test results are published to show the status of the Panasonic Official Olympic & Paralympic Website (Japanese version and English version).The test was conducted based on “Appendix JB (Informative) Testing Method” in the Japanese Industrial Standard “JIS X 8341-3:2016”. “JIS X 8341-3:2016” has the same success criteria as “WCAG 2.0”.

Conformance level satisfied
We tested 40 web pages (25 web pages were randomly selected) by using “d) Both core web pages and randomly selected web pages” of “JB.1.2 A set of web pages” in “Appendix JB (Informative) Testing Method”. The results were as follows.
- Partial Conformance at Level A
- However, 34 web pages of 40 web pages tested conformed to Level AA.
- In addition, 6 web pages that partially conformed to Level A also meet all the success criteria of Level A and Level AA, except for the video content embedded in the web pages.
