Night Mode Selfie
It’s a beautiful night, and lights are glittering all around you. It’s one of those scenes that move you the most. And it’s also one of the most difficult to photograph! But the LUMIX GF10 makes it easy to capture you and the nighttime in all your glory.
Simply press the shutter button, and the LUMIX GF10 automatically takes pictures of the background without the flash — then a picture of you with the flash! Then, leveraging advanced Panasonic technology, the camera combines both shots into a single perfect nighttime selfie.
Background Control
With Background Control, 'Defocus' function softens the area around the face, and 'Clear' function captures both the subject and the background clearly, for great selfies while traveling.
Panorama Selfie
Selfies can also be shot in panorama pictures, which is ideal for group photos and shots in front of a dynamically scenic background.
Buddy Shutter / Face Shutter
The LUMIX GF10 lets you release the shutter even ‘hands-free’. Buddy Shutter mode works when two people bring their faces closer together. Face Shutter mode is activated merely by covering your face with a waving hand.
Dual Shutter Button
The Fn3 (function) button provides an extra means of releasing the shutter when holding the camera in just your left or right hand for selfie.
4K PHOTO Selfie
For active scenes, LUMIX 4K PHOTO selfie is the ticket! Whether it’s a party moment, a group selfie, or your dog who just doesn’t want to sit still, you can catch the best moment at 30 frames per second and save it as an 8-megapixel-equivalent image.
Different from conventional 4K shooting, the 4K Burst (Wide-angle) mode* lets you leverage the lens’ angle of view. This is excellent for outdoor selfies with a dramatic background, for large group shots, or for any photo you want to shoot wide and bold!
* The frame rate becomes 15 frames per second.
Shoot Now, Focus Later — Post Focus
Imagine being able to decide exactly what you want in focus, even after you've taken the photo. The Post Focus function gives you the power to do just that. Simply capture the scene, review the image and touch the part of the photo you'd like to be pin sharp. It's simple, stunning and all inside the camera.
Adjust the Focus Area After Shooting — Focus Stacking
The Focus Stacking function enables you to adjust the focus area after shooting by combining multiple images. You can get an image with exactly the kind of defocus you want or pan-focus the image by simply selecting the focus area after shooting. This is beneficial when shooting macro shots of insects, small accessories and so on.
4K Video — 4 Times the Pixel Counts of FHD
Whether you are watching movies or editing videos, 4K delivers a far more intense viewing experience than you have seen before. Its native resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels is four times larger than Full HD, resulting in a much higher level of detail.
• When recording videos in 4K, use a card rated as UHS Speed Class 3.
Beauty Retouch
After you’re done shooting, it’s time to make yourself even more beautiful! Aesthetic Retouch can clear up your skin, remove wrinkles, tighten your facial contours, whiten your teeth, and more! Make-up Retouch lets you apply the appearance of foundation, lipstick, blush, eye shadow, and other types of makeup in a wide range of colors.

Use the Soft Skin mode for smoother skin, and Slimming for a fitter, trimmer look.
These features can be used in both Self Shot mode and Portrait mode.

The filters of the LUMIX GF10 make photography that much more creative. In the Creative Control category, 22 filter effects let you instantly turn your snapshots, panoramas, and even videos into something totally new!
In the Photo Style category, the L. Monochrome offers deep blacks and rich gradation comparable to that of black and white film. Even ordinary scenes become something special!
Easy Image Sharing with Wi-Fi®
You’ve taken some great images with the LUMIX GF10; now you want to show them off. You can instantly upload and share your pictures on social media using the ‘Panasonic Image App’ on a smartphone or tablet.
High Image Quality of LUMIX G
Shoot high-quality, true-to-life images with excellent resolution, high contrast, and impressive color reproduction. By removing the Low Pass Filter from the 16-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor, the limiting resolution has been improved while detecting high-frequency components to suppress the generation of moiré by the Venus Engine. Combining the Digital Live MOS Sensor and Venus Engine renders clear images with minimum noise even in low-light situations and a maximum sensitivity of ISO25600.
Ultra High Speed Focusing
Capture even the fastest moving action thanks to DFD
(Depth From Defocus) technology. It instantly calculates
the distance to the subject by evaluating two images with
different sharpness levels, and achieves ultra-high-speed
AF and 5 frames per second burst shooting with AFC.
5.8 frames per second burst shooting with AFS is also
available.
