It's easy to make the Israeli staple dish shakshuka at home. Packed with protein from chick peas and eggs, shakshuka is a nutritious meal that goes well with a slice of bread.
What to prepare
- 0.33Bell Pepper
- 200 gcanned Tomato
- 50 gCanned Chickpea (Garbanzo bean)
- 3Olive, sliced
- 1 tspHarissa Paste
- Dried Oregano (A pinch)
- 1Clove of Garlic, grated
- 0.5 tspSalt
- Pepper (A pinch)
- 1 tbspOlive Oil
- 30 gFeta Cheese
- Fresh Parsley or Coriander Leave (Cilantro) (As desired)
1) Except for the eggs, feta and parsley/ coriander leaves, place the ingredients in a heatproof bowl. With the bowl on the wire shelf in the middle shelf position, cook on Combi 11 (Convection 160°C + Microwave 100 W) for 15 minutes.
Note:Asia model: Cook on Combi 9 (Convection 190°C + Microwave 300 W) for 10 minutes
2) Crack the eggs on top and sprinkle all over with crumbled feta cheese and copped parsley/ coriander leaves. With the bowl on the wire shelf in the middle shelf position, cook on Combi 3 (Steam + Convection 190°C) for 10 minutes.
