Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Short grain rice
  • 1/4 cup Black glutinous rice
  • 1/4 cup Barley
  • 1/4 cup Millet
  • 2 tbspGreen bean
  • 2 tbspLentil (soak overnight)
  • 2 tbspRed bean (soak overnight)
  • 2 tbspPeanuts (soak overnight)

For savoury

  • 1.5 LChicken stock

For sweet dessert

  • 1.5 LWater
  • 150 gRock sugar

Method

STEP 1

Rinse all the grains and beans with water.

STEP 2

Pour in green beans, lentil, red bean and peanuts into the slow cooker pot.

STEP 3

For savory, add in chicken stock. For sweet dessert, add in rock sugar.

STEP 4

Cook for 1 hour under “High” setting.

STEP 5

Pour in short grain rice, black glutinous rice, barley and millet into the slow cooker pot.

STEP 6

Cook for 1 hour under “High” setting.

STEP 7

For savory, add in salt to taste. For sweet dessert, add in sugar to taste.
