How to set up your Panasonic TV to work with Alexa

Step One: Register for a Panasonic ID

Visit https://csapl.pcpf.panasonic.com/Account/Register001 and register for a Panasonic ID if you don't already have one.

Step Two: Register your TV to your Panasonic ID   

Press Apps on the remote and select Smart Speaker Settings.

Tick the two boxes to enable Voice Control
i. "Control TV via Smart Speaker"
ii. "Power on TV with Smart Speaker”

Sign in with your Panasonic ID to register your TV.

Step Three: Add the Panasonic TV skill to the Amazon Alexa app.

a. Open the Amazon Alex app, your Alex speaker should already be paired and ready to use.
b. Click “Devices” tab (far right) and press "your smart home skills". Click "Enable smart home skills".
c. Search for Panasonic and click the "Panasonic TV".

Step Four: Link Panasonic TV to Panasonic TV Alexa skill

In the skill, click "Enable" to start linking your TV.
a. Sign in with your Panasonic ID refer to (Step 1)
b. The message "Panasonic TV successfully linked" is shown. i. If not successful, please revisit (Step 2) registering your TV
c. Click "DISCOVER DEVICES" to search for your TV.
d. "1 TV discovered", click done. If no TV is found, please check (Step 2) registering your TV.
e. Clicking on the Skill will show the commands for controlling your TV.
