Singapore Chilli Crab
The intense flavor of juicy crab served with gravy-soaked buns.

Coat crab with cornflour evenly. Heat sufficient oil and deep fry crab for 5 minutes.
Blend together the chilli paste ingredients until smooth.
Heat oil and saute chilli paste for 10 minutes till paste is darker in colour.
Pour in water and tomato sauce, season with pepper, sugar & salt.
Then, toss in crab back to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
Thicken sauce with cornflour mixture and add beaten egg.
Stir well and transfer to a serving plate.
