High-Resolution Audio Playback

This model is designed for high-resolution audio reproduction. By connecting to an Ultra HD Blu-ray player or recorder with an HDMI cable, high-resolution sounds recorded onto a Blu-ray DiscTM can be accurately reproduced. Reproduction is also possible for high-resolution music files stored on the HDD of a Blu-ray recorder, a USB memory device connected to the USB terminal of a Blu-ray player or recorder, a USB hard disk, or NAS (Network Attached Storage). These high-resolution sound sources can be accurately reproduced with sound-enhancing technology such as Panasonic's original, high-performance LincsD Amp, a full-digital amp.

The SB1's compact size (only 43cm wide) gives you flexibility for set up. Despite its size, this 2.1 channel speaker system achieves dynamic sound by utilising high-resolution tweeters and full-range speakers (1 each in right & left speaker cabinets), and one upward-facing subwoofer. By delivering the robust bass sounds of the subwoofer from a centre slit, it allows listeners to experience direct, dynamic bass sounds. The SB1 is a compact solution for people who want a more minimal sound audio set-up for their TV.

Easy-to-Use Functions

The SB1's designed to allow you to easily enjoy high quality sound from your TV.The 4K/HDR Pass Through function transmits 4K/HDR video signals from an Ultra HD Blu-ray player or other device directly to the TV. When connected to a CEC compatible TV, the sound volume can be controlled, and the power turned ON and OFF by the TV's remote control. Bluetooth compatibility also allows sound sources stored on devices such as a smartphone to be easily enjoyed with high sound quality.
