How to Create a Baby Monitoring System to Check on Your Little One
Peace of mind brought to you by Panasonic with the Smart home Baby monitoring system. This Smart home system of camera and hub unit allows remote or in-house monitoring of your baby’s room as well as any other areas of the house you wish to include (up to four cameras per hub). Use a camera to check on your baby, with audio and temperature feedback. See and hear how your baby is and receive alerts if the temperature changes beyond a range pre-set by you. Do this from within your home or while out and about through your smart phone using the Panasonic Smart home app. Peace of mind is easily yours, as your babysitters know you are keeping in touch remotely as you relax, exercise or socialise, whilst keeping your family safe through the benefits and features of the Panasonic Smart home system.
The system can be expanded or contracted to fit with your needs and the size of your home. At the heart of the set up is a smart hub, which connects a range of devices on your system. It can communicate across a range of 300 metres and is set up through ‘one-push’ pairing. Once a component in the system such as the baby camera has been triggered, either through motion, sounds, or temperature, the hub will record images onto a microSD/SDHC card.
In addition to baby Wi-Fi camera, the set-up kit includes door and window sensors, which also connect wirelessly, via the hub, to other devices and will, when activated, trigger a loud siren alarm or send an alert to your smartphone depending on the preference you have chosen. Also part of the system is the smart plug. This can be controlled from your smart phone and used to operate electrical devices in the home, allowing you, for example, to turn the light in your baby’s room down or off, without having to go into the room and risk disturbing your child.
Once you have bought the baby monitoring system and connected it to your existing wireless network, you have a standalone system, customizable to your exact requirements, with no ongoing expenses such as a monthly fee. You are then free to add to the system as and when you wish, for example, with extra door and window sensors or cameras, including splash-proof outdoor cameras, as you require, up to the hub limits. And as all the components can communicate with each other across a range of 300 metres, there is a generous limit to the size of system you can create, all networked and controllable via your smartphone, whether you are at home or out and about.
In addition to practical considerations that bring peace of mind, such as monitoring babysitters and your child’s environment, the Baby monitor kit allows you to talk to your child via a built-in speaker in the baby Wi-Fi camera. If you are unable to reach your child immediately for any reason, this allows them to hear the soothing sound of your voice and for you to reassure them.
All of this functionality can be bought as a Baby monitor kit, easily installed to use in your home for immediate peace of mind.
