Ho Chi Minh, 10 August 2022 – Panasonic Vietnam was presented in Top 50 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam by Nhip cau Dau tu magazine for the first year, once again affirming the efforts of the Japanese brand towards the vision for prosperity and sustainable development in Vietnam.

Panasonic Vietnam was honored with the National Environment Award 2021 by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, marking a very special milestone in its first year of the next 50 year journey in Vietnam with a strong commitment to realize wellness and sustainable development for Vietnam and Vietnamese people.

Panasonic Electric Works Company, Panasonic Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Electric Works Company),, announced that Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam Co., Ltd, being responsible for manufacturing and sales of wiring devices, lighting and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) in where as a strategic country of their oversea business, will accelerate the expansion of its electrical construction material business in Vietnam to grow up sales approx.3.5 times in FY2030 from FY2021, which equivalent to 50 billion yen.

Panasonic Corporation has verified the inhibitory effect of nanoe™ technology with benefits of hydroxyl radicals on four novel coronavirus variants, namely Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta, in collaboration with the Japan Textile Products Quality and Technology Center (QTEC) *¹.

Despite the challenges in the Covid-19 period, Panasonic Vietnam donated 110,000 trees to Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province in the annual tree planting program "Panasonic for a green Vietnam" in 2021 in collaboration with the Center of Natural Resources and Environment Communication – Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
