On 8th and 9th July 2017 in Hanoi and Hochiminh city, Panasonic organizes an event to introduce the ultimate camera "LUMIX GH5 - Explore new frontiers" attracting a great number of professional filmmakers and photographers. LUMIX GH5 is evaluated as an extremely compact, mirrorless digital camera but has the ability to record 4K video with high resolution as a professional camera.
LUMIX DC-GH5 is the upgraded version of LUMIX DC-GH4 introduced two years ago which had set new standards. This is the first consumer digital camera having the ability to record high resolution 4K video at 50-60 frames per second (fps) and deliver cinematic, subtle gradation and far more color information, reaching the standards of a professional quality film recording.
Particularly, at the heart of the camera is a 20.3MP Digital Live MOS sensor and a newly developed Venus Engine processor allowing the reproduction of extraordinary colour detail, eye-catching with the noise is nearly zero. In addition, ISO has also been extended from 100 to 25600, allowing users to be completely creative in low-light environments.
Moreover, Panasonic GH5 uses excellent DFD (Depth from Defocus) technology with 225 AF points, which works along with standard contrast detection autofocus for up to 2x faster focusing than the GH4. Besides, the optical image stabilization is proven by 5-axis image stabilization, eliminating blur, thus providing sharp and vivid images.
Especially, the LUMIX GH5 is also upgraded to be able to record videos at higher speed without overheating, and in unlimited time. These well-upgraded technologies are capable of providing convenience and great experience for users as a professional camera, yet coming from a M4/3 camera that weighs less than 1 kilogram.
"Thanks to the unique technological innovations, GH5 has become the world’s first camera to meet the standards of a professional video recorder. With the modern audio, visual and presentation equipment, Panasonic has accompanied with the Olympic Games for the last 25 years to not only share with fans around the world breathless competing moments but also enable users to keep unmissable moments in everyday life. This is rooted in Panasonic’s commitment of bringing "A better life, a better world"”, said Mr. Kensuke Miyaji, Marketing Director of Panasonic Vietnam.
