Panasonic presenting a new scholarship program
for students majoring in Heat and Refrigeration

Hanoi, 20 January 2020, Panasonic Vietnam organized the Panasonic Air Conditioner Scholarship for the first time to honor 7 excellent students majoring in Heat and Refrigeration at Panasonic Air-Conditioning Training Center Vietnam. With the participation of representatives from schools, the ceremony created a warm atmosphere. 

The scholarship which launched in 2019, together with the annual Panasonic scholarship program, is one of Panasonic’s corporate social responsibility activities in Vietnam. The program aims to support and motivate the senior students majoring in Heat and Refrigeration, who are passionate about science and technology, endeavor in the study and always aspire to develop themselves to contribute to the country. Each student who succeeds with the program will receive a scholarship worth VND 3,500,000 per month until graduation. It is estimated that in the first year, the total value of scholarships for 7 students is 200 million VND.

Seven excellent students receiving Panasonic Air Conditioner Scholarship

Not only receiving the scholarship, but the students also participate in many training activities with Panasonic experts. Besides, they can attend the interpersonal skills courses at Panasonic Air-Conditioning Training Center Vietnam. The center was inaugurated in October 2019 as a communication space between Panasonic and its partners and businesses. Here, students and partners can experience Panasonic air-conditioner technology and Japanese-quality products through many activities such as display, introduction and training on residential and commercial air-conditioners, air purifiers, energy recovery ventilations, fans and advanced nanoeTM air purifying technology.
