This professional handheld camcorder is equipped with a newly designed 24mm wide-angle LEICA DICOMAR lens with 20x optical zoom and a 1-inch high-sensitivity MOS sensor.
It has the mobility to shift your video production to professional 4K images.
The mics shown in product photos are optional.
High image quality and Sensitivity with a large 1-inch sensor.
The 1-inch MOS sensor provides excellent balance between image quality and functionality, allowing multi-format video recording and regional frequency switching to shoot in Cinema 4K at 24p, 4K video at 50p/60p, or Full HD video at 50p/60p.
24mm wide-angle lens with 20x Optical Zoom
With an incredibly wide angle of 24mm*, the lens system of the HC-X1 works with the 1-inch sensor to provide a huge 20x optical zoom. Using a 4-Drive Lens System to drive each of the four lens groups achieves both the optical 20x zoom and a compact body.
*35mm equivalent. In Cinema 4K 24p (17:9 aspect ratio). 25.4mm wide in 4K 50p/60p (16:9 aspect ratio).
High-Speed, High-Precision AF Technology in 4K
For critical 4K focusing, high-speed, precise, and stable AF performance is achieved by a Micro Drive Focus Unit. AF settings can also be customised to adjust speed, tracking sensitivity, and area width. This matches the user's intended AF operation to the subject and application.
Clear, Blurless Results
The correction area was expanded to 900%* of the conventional area** to strongly correct low- and high-angle shots. In FHD mode, a 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. + that adds electronic image stabilisation to optical image stabilisation detects and corrects 5 axes.
* Except 4K 24p mode.
