TechCollect

TechCollect is fully funded by ANZRP’s members, more than 60 manufacturers and importers of televisions and computer products, that have chosen ANZRP to deliver sustainable environmental outcomes on their behalf; companies who are putting environmental outcomes first.
Panasonic spent the better part of five years actively campaigning for the introduction of a national e-waste recycling scheme which has become a reality with the launch of ANZRP.

Film the sun, using the sun

On the morning of November 14, 2012, the north of Australia witnessed a total solar eclipse. Panasonic, powered solely by its HIT(R) solar panels and lithium-ion batteries for storage, succeeded in a live broadcast of this spectacular astronomical phenomenon via USTREAM.

National Tree Day

Panasonic Australia embarked on a new project with Planet Ark and National Tree Day to strengthen its environmental reputation and support its vision to become the Number 1 Green Innovation Company in the Electronics Industry by fiscal 2019. Through this association, Panasonic encouraged all New South Wales staff and their families and friends to participate in National Tree Day on Sunday 29th July to show their support for the Panasonic’s global vision.
