In addition to the two lenses, the HDC-Z1000EZ has dual1/4.1 type 3MOS (2.19M, full HD) image sensors. Each lens has a wide aperture setting of F1.5 and just over 12x optical zoom (29.8mm ~ 368.8mm, 35 mm equivalent) in 2D mode and in 3D mode an impressive 10x optical zoom (32mm to 320mm, 35mm equivalent), with optical stabilization in both modes. It also features the industry’s shortest close-up range of approx. 45cm for 3D macro shooting*.
The HDC-Z10000EZ can record in 1080/50i, 1080/25psf, and 1080/23.98p in 3D mode and 1080/50p, 1080/50i, 1080/25psf, 1080/23.98p in 2D mode. Recording HD progressive and 3D images onto one of the two SD cards by using the new AVCHD 2.0 standard.
This powerful camera recorder is designed to meet the level of quality that is demanded for both 2D production and for the growing need for 3D image production. The newly developed ultra-high speed Crystal Engine Pro II, enables processing the large amounts of data obtained from the full-HD sensors, which incorporates Panasonic’s pixel shirt technology to obtain superb HD quality images with dramatic reduction of noise. The HDC-Z10000 also has a built-in 3.5 type, 1,152 pixel resolution LCD glasses-free 3D monitor with touch screen for ease of viewing and for menu selection, two XLR audio input, linear PCM recording in addition to the built-in 5.1-ch surround sound microphone.
