The FSV-EX ME2 Series and FSV-EX MS3 Series have superior installation capability and can be installed in a variety of arrangements.

Increased Piping Length for Greater Design Flexibility

*1: 40 m if the outdoor unit is below the indoor unit. An elevation difference of a maximum 90 m in the case of ODU is higher than IDU may be allowed following certain conditions.
*1, *2: Please consult with Panasonic sales engineers about certain conditions in the case of piping elevation of over 50 m or level difference between indoor units over 15 m required. MS3 series with exceeding 82 HP does not support a height difference of 90 m and a level difference of 30 m.
Up to 50 m Length Difference Between the Longest and the Shortest Piping from the First Branch
Up to 50 m length difference between the longest and the shortest piping from the first branch. The flexible piping layout makes it easier to design systems for locations such as train stations, airports, schools, and hospitals.
Up to 64 Units Connectable
Up to 64 indoor units can be connected in a single system for ultimate design flexibility.
Note: Maximum number of indoor units depends on outdoor unit capacity.
Connectable Indoor/Outdoor Unit Capacity Ratio Up to 130%
FSV systems attain a maximum indoor unit connection capacity of up to 130%* of the unit’s connection range, depending on the outdoor and indoor models selected. So for a reasonable investment, FSV systems provide an ideal air conditioning solution for locations where full cooling/heating** is not always required.
*If the following conditions are satisfied, the effective range is above 130% up to 200%.
(1) Obey the limited number of connectable indoor units.
(2) The lower limit of operating range for heating outdoor temperature is limited to -10°CWB (standard -25°CWB). (Only for ME2 series.)
(3) Simultaneous operation is limited to less than 130% of connectable indoor units.
**FSV-EX MS3 Series are cooling only.

82 HP and above is equivalent to 80 HP (FSV-EX MS3).
Compact Design Enables Conveyance by Lift
8-10 HP (ME2) and 8-12 HP (MS3) are able to fit inside a lift for easy handling on site.
High External Static Pressure Allows Installation on Every Floor of a Building
With a newly designed fan, fan guard, motor, and casing, new models can be custom-installed on site to provide up to 80 Pa of external static pressure. An air discharge duct prevents shortages of air circulation, allowing the installation of outdoor units on every floor and compatibility with high-rise buildings.
