We started in Vietnam with radios and televisions produced in a humble factory, back in the 1970s in Ho Chi Minh City, where the National branded (now Panasonic) radio and television were produced to bring more joy and happiness to the life of Vietnamese people.
At the threshold of 50th officially present in Vietnam market (1971-2021), Panasonic Vietnam announced its new business value proposition: changing from general Consumer Electronic Company to Wellness Solutions Providing Company, pioneering in providing human-oriented technology trends, proposing solutions to urgent social problems in order to contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam.
Today, PANASONIC VIETNAM GROUP (PVG) comprises of seven companies, including:
• One holding company with sales division
• One software R&D company
• Four manufacturing companies, and one washing machine & refrigerator R&D center
Panasonic Vietnam (PV) is the first 100% foreign invested company to assume the role of the country headquarter in Vietnam. As of April 2022, Panasonic Vietnam Group comprises of seven companies including Panasonic Vietnam and its sales division of Panasonic Sales Vietnam (PSV), Panasonic Research & Development Center Vietnam (PRDCV), four manufacturing companies including Panasonic Appliances Vietnam (PAPVN), Panasonic System Networks Vietnam (PSNV), Panasonic Industrial Devices Vietnam (PIDVN), Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam Co., Ltd. (PEWVN) (previously named as Panasonic Life Solutions Vietnam), and the Panasonic Insurance Service Vietnam (PISVN).
