First of all, we would like to express our deep gratitude to your very kind and strong support to our activities over the years.

With a history of more than 100 years globally and more than 50 years of official presence in Vietnam, Panasonic has been always putting our first mission of contributing to the prosperity of society and the life quality of each individual Vietnamese people, through conducting business activities on the principles of fairness, honesty and compliance with the law.

Recently, we understand that there are scamming and misleading online information on digital platforms such as website, facebook, abusing the names of Panasonic to carry out cheating activities. For example, these scamming platforms, and some unknown individuals to claim acting on behalf of Panasonic, have conducted counterfeiting recruitment in the name of Panasonic including sending direct messages on online platforms to many people, offering so called “online marketing job” and asking participants to transfer money.

We would like to provide some details as below:

+ Website: The scamming website pretends up to be a Panasonic recruitment website to ask users to register, interact, pay some fee and receive commissions.

+ Message: an individual pretends to act for Panasonic sending cheating message about recruitment for a so-called Panasonic's online marketing program.

+ Official letter: some unknown organization/individual has made a scamming letter to pretend as official letter from Panasonic Vietnam (abusing of name, signature, seal title of General Director of Panasonic Vietnam). This letter mentions about a fake online marketing project of the Marketing department of Panasonic Vietnam to call for participation in paid online marketing activities.

This is a manipulation to dishonestly take advantage of Panasonic brand for scamming purposes, not only seriously harming our brand and business activities, but also causing social confusion, misunderstanding and especially direct harm to cheated victims. Therefore, Panasonic is actively coordinating with the Authorities to investigate, clarify and prevent these scams.

By this official notice, we would like to inform to our valued customers and business partners of such situation, and recommend you to pay special attention to avoid these scamming risks.

We confirm and recommend the following:

1. Panasonic's recruitment activities are done in a way where our HR person to directly contact with applicants. We do not have any recruitment activities conducted in the manner of paying fees and paying commissions as above.

Please visit the official Panasonic website to get updated information about products and services that we provide, as well as information related to recruitment, career opportunities.

3. Please do not click, do not log in to any links that are suspected as scam websites and such fraudulent offers to register for commissions or transfer requests.
