Whole-Grain Pizza Bread with Cheese and Ricotta

Whole-Grain Pizza Bread with Cheese and Ricotta

Whether you’re watching a game or a film, a delicious snack should not be forgotten. Our suggestion: homemade pizza bread. Baked with ricotta and spring onions, it goes perfectly with wine and beer.

Difficulty: Medium

Ingredients

2
10 g yeast (fresh)
80 ml lukewarm water
150 g whole wheat flour (Plus extra for the work surface)
1 tbsp olive oil
salt
80 g ricotta
1 tbsp cream (30% fat)
1 tbsp milk (3.5% fat)
pepper
50 g mountain cheese
50 g cheddar
50 g mozzarella
1 spring onion

Steps

STEP 1

Crumble the yeast and dissolve in lukewarm water.

STEP 2

Knead the yeast mixture with flour, olive oil, and a pinch of salt in a bowl to form dough. Leave dough covered for 45 minutes in a warm place.

STEP 3

In the meantime, mix the ricotta, cream, and milk in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

STEP 4

Cut the dough in half. Roll out thinly on a floured work surface to form two elongated boats (about 23 cm long).

STEP 5

Grate the mountain cheese, cheddar, and mozzarella, then spread on the pizzas.

STEP 6

Wash the spring onion, pat dry, clean, and cut into fine rings. Sprinkle onto the pizzas.

STEP 7

Preheat the pizza pan for about 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

STEP 8

Place the pizzas side by side in the pan. Use a spatula to help lift.

STEP 9

Bake for 8-10 minutes with the Combo 2 function. Enjoy!

Tip: Add a few drops of chili oil for a crisp note.
