Clean air inside and out
At Panasonic, our focus is to create clean indoor air while minimizing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. To make this happen, we’ve developed a wealth of integrated energy-saving products and solutions to reduce energy loss. We offer total coordination of air quality.
Enhancing indoor air quality and reducing CO₂ emissions
Energy-saving from individual products
The energy efficiency of air-conditioning products continues to advance. That said, temperature control of air conditioners and operation of air purifiers, humidifiers, and ventilation fans has not been sufficiently integrated, and indoor air that has been conditioned, purified, and humidified is exhausted directly outdoors, resulting in significant energy loss.
Total coordination for optimal air quality
Operating temperature control of air conditioners and heat exchange fans in coordination, we integrate air purification and humidification systems. We then use CO₂ sensors and other sensing devices to optimize control for total coordination of air quality. Through integration of all components, energy loss is minimized.
Reducing CO₂ emissions
Given global warming and air pollution, CO₂ emissions from air-conditioning and ventilation systems are expected to increase in the future. To combat this we are making system components even more energy efficient and promoting total coordination of indoor air quality. Our goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions by about 40% below projections for 2030 to maintain 2020 emissions levels.
