Munjal Kiru's Manesar plant office, a large-scale manufacturing facility, faced several Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) challenges in office area:
- Diverse Thermal Loads: Different areas of the office, such as reception area, open workstations, meeting rooms, assembly area had varying thermal loads.
- Precise Temperature and Humidity Control: Need to maintain temperature & humidity.
- Energy Efficiency: The entire office area aimed to reduce energy consumption without compromising comfort and productivity.
- Scalability: The facility required a flexible HVAC system that could accommodate future expansion.
- Intelligent Central Control System: The HVAC systems of entire office needed to be centrally controlled.
What was the solution provided by Panasonic?
- Product deployment: VRF SYSTEM with Central Controller -100 HP System with Cassettes Indoors & Intelligent Central Controlling System-CRC.
- Implementation Details: After proper heat load calculation, a schematic of the copper piping and wiring was prepared. Subsequently, approximately 35 cassette-type indoor units (IDUs) ranging from 1.5 TR to 4 TR were installed in different area of the office including Reception, open workstations, Cabins & meeting rooms. To complete the module, 6 outdoor units (ODUs) with a capacity Ranging from 12HP to 20 HP each were connected.
- Intelligent central controller (CRC) was installed to provide centralized control and monitoring, ensuring optimal comfort, energy efficiency & on time preventive maintenance.

- Controller tracks energy usage and identify areas for optimization.
- Reminders for due preventive maintenance requirement.
