Panasonic Consumer Products Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions
Thank you for purchasing a Panasonic product
Please carefully read and understand the terms and conditions of the Warranty provided hereunder.
1. SCOPE AND ELIGIBILITY
These Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions (the Warranty) apply to new Panasonic-branded consumer products (the Product) purchased from Panasonic or Panasonic-authorized retailers/resellers in Qatar by an end-user consumer for personal, household, or domestic use.
This Warranty is valid only in the country of original purchase, unless expressly stated otherwise or covered by an international warranty program for specific product lines.
Proof of purchase (dated sales receipt or invoice showing model and serial number, seller name, and purchase date) is required for any warranty claim.
Products purchased from unauthorized channels, counterfeit products, or products for which the serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed are not covered.
2. WARRANTY PERIOD
Standard Coverage: 12 months from the date of retail purchase by the first end-user.
3. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS
During the applicable Warranty Period, Panasonic warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation and will substantially conform to Panasonic’s published specifications.
If a covered defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Panasonic will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law:
- Repair the Product using new or refurbished parts; or
- Provide a refund or credit (pro-rated where permitted) if repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable or available.
4. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration), and consumables (e.g., filters, pads, stylus, belts, batteries, Hose pipes, Iron Water Tanks & Handles), unless failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, liquid or chemical contact, foreign objects, infestation, excessive dust, corrosion, rust, or smoke.
- Damage due to improper installation, improper assembly, improper ventilation, failure to follow instructions, or use outside intended or recommended environmental conditions.
- Electrical damage from improper voltage, power surges, lightning, or other acts of nature.
- Unauthorized modifications, firmware or software alterations, use of non-approved accessories or parts, and repairs or servicing by non-authorized service providers.
- Commercial or institutional use of products labelled only for consumer/home use.
- Image retention/burn-in on displays resulting from static images; pixel anomalies within industry-accepted tolerances; calibration or user preference adjustments.
- Data loss, software (including third-party apps/services), content, or connectivity issues not caused by a defect in Panasonic hardware.
- Products with removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers; or products where proof of purchase cannot be verified.
- Grey-market or parallel-imported units not intended for the country/region of use, unless covered by an official Panasonic international warranty program.
5. DATA, SETTINGS, AND CONTENT
- Back up your data and remove removable media before service. Panasonic is not responsible for loss of data, user settings, or installed applications. Service may require reformatting or firmware updates.
- If necessary, you authorize Panasonic to reset the Product to factory settings to complete diagnosis or repair.
6. REPLACEMENT PARTS AND OWNERSHIP
- Repaired or replaced parts may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent and meet Panasonic quality standards.
- Replaced parts and units become the property of Panasonic; the repaired or replacement product becomes your property.
- Availability of parts and service is subject to local inventory and may vary by model and region.
7. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Panasonic shall not be liable or deemed to be default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control including delay in repairing due to non-availability of any component and / or accessory, labour problem, restriction and regulation of government, public movement, war, and any unavoidable circumstances, specially vis-a-vis the import of supplies and raw material or if Company is otherwise prevented from performing its function under this warranty.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Panasonic shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, consequential or economic damage or loss (including but not limited to loss of profits, data, anticipated saving, and goodwill or business opportunities arising from or related to the Warranty). The Company's liability under or in relation to this warranty shall be limited to purchase price of the product or Maximum Retail Price, as stated on packaging of product, whichever is lower.
9. NO OTHER WARRANTIES
No Panasonic reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Warranty. Any such statements do not bind Panasonic unless expressly confirmed in writing by an authorized Panasonic representative.

Service Method:
- Carry-In: For small/portable products, you may be instructed to bring or ship the Product to an Authorized Service Center (ASC).
- On-Site: For large appliances/installed products (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, large TVs), Panasonic may provide on-site service within covered areas.
- No Fault Found: If the Product is found to be operating within specification, Panasonic may return the unit unrepaired and may charge a diagnostic/handling fee where permitted by law.
