Panasonic is committed to ensuring that any data generated by our connected products and related services is used fairly, lawfully, and securely. We place high importance on compliance with Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the “Data Act”)
This Notice is intended to tell Users which data can be generated by the products we sell and our related services. Where we are Data Holder under the Data Act for data generated by our products or related services, we will also tell you how we use such data, what rights and obligations users have for such Data, how users can get access to such Data and where to go in case of complaints. You will also find contact information for any questions related to data handling.
This Notice must be read jointly with, and is without prejudice to, the applicable data privacy notice, which shall prevail over this Notice as concerns personal data.
DATA GENERATED BY OUR PRODUCTS
Our products can generate data on an ongoing data, please see information below. Such product data can be accessed and used for diagnostics purposes in case a product is handed over for service and maintenance. Where we access such data for diagnostic purposes, the data will not be exported or used for other purposes and will be deleted after the diagnostic is done.
The overview of the data generated on your use of the Product(s) is set out in the Annex below.

Panasonic is the initial seller of the connected product. If the connected product is (re)sold, leased, or rented, it will be up to each reseller, sub-lessor or sub-rentor to comply with the pre-contractual information obligation outlined in Article 3(2) of the Data Act. The reseller, sub-lessor or sub-rentor must provide a copy of the information contained in this Notice to the repurchaser, sub-lessee or sub-rentee.
