Learn more about how Panasonic OLED TVs are being used by movie professionals

Panasonic OLED TVs have been used worldwide by filmmakers as client reference monitors thanks to their accurate colour reproduction. Directors and DOPs all want to make sure that the colours what they imagine and what they can see on set on their expensive professional monitors will look the same when people look at them on their TV screen in their homes. Panasonic is committed to bring an accurate audio-visual experience to peoples’ homes, true to the filmmaker’s vision.

Panasonic partnered up with Picture Shop, a global postproduction company, with a goal of providing the viewers the most amazing colours on the big screen and on TVs at home. Picture Shop’s Senior Colourist Jodie Davidson used a Panasonic OLED TV to provide the users with the most beautiful and accurate colours for an award nominated feature film: Pretty Red Dress, written and directed by Dionne Edwards.

“Panasonic have worked with colour scientists and colourists to develop Filmmaker Mode so that we are getting an accurate representation of what everybody’s worked so hard for in the grading suite.”
