Conventional refrigerators have just one power level, but new Panasonic refrigerators with Inverter technology have various power levels to ensure the most efficient use of energy. A microprocessor intelligently detects the refrigerator’s temperature. Then, based on this information, the compressor adjusts the Inverter motor’s rotation speed. This saves energy compared to traditional twin cooling systems, which always cools both the fridge and freezer, even if it is not needed in the refrigerator.

These modern refrigerators feature the Vitamin-Safe compartment, which is optimised to a high humidity level. Fruit and vegetables stored in the dark lose vitamins. To prevent this, the Vitamin-Safe compartment features two flashing LEDs which simulate the blue and green hues of sunlight. The Panasonic Hygiene Active system is a combination of technologies which protect your food from coming into contact with harmful bacteria. Used in various products, silver is traditionally known for its antibacterial properties. The combination of a silver filter, which produces silver ions, as well as water mist and blue LED light, forms an anti-bacterial cleanser called ‘Hydroxy Radical’, which naturally occurs in the troposphere.
