A newly created opportunity for an experienced Business/Product Manager to hold complete responsibility and accountability. For the strategic administration and management of our distributor business

Job Description

  • Account management execution combined with product management responsibilities
  • Be a trusted advisor to our Air-conditioning distributors ensuring Panasonic strengthens partnerships with these key accounts to facilitate the growth expectations of the specialist Air-conditioning category
  • Ensure that distributor agreed sell through and product category targets are achieved
  • Take the lead on establishing and updating/improving tools and resources to pro-actively plan, track and monitor both past performance as well future sales forecasts (Both sell in and Sell through)
  • Closely track market data, trends and assist the distributors to interpret and use this data for future sales planning
  • Manage inbound information from distributors including orders, purchase reports, product sales reports, inventory reports, promotion tracking reports, credit claims
  • Take the lead in executing advertising and promotion activities within the distributors

Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Experience working in an Account Management or Product Management role
  • Proven relationship management coupled with strong negotiation skills
  • Customer first mentality and driven to achieve targets
  • High level of competency in data analysis and very strong excel skills
  • Knowledge of Product lifecycle management, advertising, promotions strategy and execution
  • Business/commerce degree highly
