The LUMIX S1RII's 1,840k dots 3.0-inch LCD monitor features a flexible movable mechanism that combines both tilt and free-angle mechanisms. For still photography, the tilt mechanism allows you to move the monitor up and down along the optical axis, enabling comfortable framing.

The LUMIX S1RII also offers exceptional convenience when it comes to video production. When setting up with accessories such as rigs, the monitor can be rotated freely while tilted without interfering with HDMI or USB cables.

The LUMIX S1RII's viewfinder features a resolution of 5,760k dots, offering clarity that rivals your own eyesight. Its OLED display provides superb response speed along with exceptional clarity and sharpness, making it reliable for capturing fast-moving subjects. Additionally, the high-contrast display (approximately 10,000:1) presents subjects with fine gradations and high clarity. The snug-fitting eyecups further enhance the immersive experience.

Photo/Video/S&Q Switch

The LUMIX S1RII, which was designed with a focus on operability as a hybrid model, allows you to toggle between photo and video modes at the touch of a switch. Not only are there menus optimized for each mode and a Quick Menu, but you can also use the function buttons to customize settings for photos and videos respectively.

Battery grip DMW-BG2 (sold separately)
The battery grip offers the same grip and operability as the camera body. Equipped with a shutter button, dial, 8-way joystick, and more, it facilitates intuitive operation just like in the horizontal position, even when shooting vertically.
In power-consuming recording modes*, the LUMIX S1RII allows you to supply power using the camera body and the DMW-BG2 battery simultaneously, enabling more dynamic shooting without the need for external adapters or cables.

*For video and S&Q video when set as MOV/MP4 with exceeding a resolution of C4K; or ProRes video with frame rate of 31 fps or above and exceeding a resolution of C4K. For other settings, battery grip DMW-BG2 battery and the camera body battery can be used individually, in that order.

Extend the tele-end seamlessly

Crop Zoom / Hybrid Zoom
Crop Zoom extends the zoom range by utilizing the center of the sensor. Hybrid Zoom, which combines optical zoom with Crop Zoom, allows you to seamlessly extend the telephoto end while using the only normal zoom ring. This functionality expands your creative possibilities, even when you're carrying minimal equipment.

Support for using the focus ring as a control ring

The focus ring can now be used as a control ring*, enabling you to assign key functions such as aperture and exposure compensation. When set to the Crop Zoom, it allows smooth extension of the telephoto range. The ring's rotation direction is also selectable*, giving you the freedom to adjust handling to match your shooting style and camera setup.
