Tim Nugent brings over 30 years of experience to his role as Director, Integrated Solutions at Panasonic Canada Inc.
Tim joined the company during the 2016 acquisition of Quickservice Technologies, then a provider of Panasonic hardware for several years, and was drawn to the company’s dynamic energy and intention to grow and innovate.
During his time at Panasonic, Tim has thrived within the culture of the Integrated Solutions Division, a team that tirelessly and creatively find a means to support the needs of Panasonic’s hospitality clients. Tim is known for being a trusted client partner to help businesses grow, and for his collaborative and empowering management style that cultivates team input, creativity and success.
Tim is passionate about having direct involvement in technology solutions within the QSR space and brainstorming with his diverse team to find efficiencies and operational features for clients by employing a business perspective. Tim has his finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends and client operational requirements to analyze opportunities and bring clients the best and optimal solution and direction to their challenges.
Prior to joining Panasonic, Tim held various roles at Quickservice Technologies and the former entity of Peninsula Cash Control during his 24-year tenure, in addition to sales and business development roles at two other foodservice technology vendors. Early on in his career, Tim worked in the restaurant industry which provided him a frontline understanding and perspective of the realities Panasonic’s clients face daily.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McMaster University.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys cycling, hockey, skiing, music, local history and travelling with his family. He takes an active role in supporting and assisting the various charity events hosted within the Integrated Solution Division in addition to others, as well as his daughters’ local youth sports programs.
