Targeting ITS by Panasonic,
consist of Person, Automotive and Transportation.

Panasonic Group are involved in a broad range of ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) businesses ranging from automotive terminals to transport infrastructure and smart towns.
Panasonic Group have been contributing to diffuse ITS not only from automotive appliance like car navigation system and ETC OBU(On Board Unit) but also to infrastructure like ETC gate and RSU(Road Side Unit).

By enhancing the value driven by ITS together with customer, Panasonic will create Next generation at ITS.
Panasonic's initiatives include technology development such as wireless and imaging technologies to prevent traffic accidents and realize a self-driving society, as well as services and solutions aimed at achieving more comfortable and sustainable mobility.

Panasonic Virtual Exhibition 2021

Achieving driverless Automated Valet Parking without dedicated expensive sensors. (SAE Level 4 in limited areas)

Autonomous robots deliver services in towns.

Able to evaluate 5G wireless communication and millimeter wave radar detection performance indoors for all directions, before the field tests.

Projection mapping on road surface based on high-resolution lighting technique.

Panasonic has developed an on-chip beam steering device utilizing our silicon photonics and liquid crystal technologies. This non-mechanical device is compact and robust to shock and vibration, making it suitable for automotive and robotics LiDAR applications.

Panasonic has developed a high precision FMCW LiDAR. Our prototype using a proprietary signal processing technique demonstrates distance measurement with mm-accuracy and velocity detection.

Panasonic is developing 3D sensing technology for automated parking system. Accurate and dense map is generated by Panasonic "Dense SLAM" and 1-stroke parking in the various parking lots will be achieved.

Panasonic's compact 3D imaging radar that using a small number of antennas and high-precision positioning algorithm can recognize multiple objects in low visibility such as snow storm, fog, dust and darkness.

Available 5 models of detection (Dry, Damp, Wet, Snow & Ice) for monitoring road surface conditions from 10m height by IR-Logic.
Road condition information monitoring by sensor which installed on the roadside infrastructure.
