As the window to the Panasonic Group for a wide scope of stakeholders (national and local political arenas, government agencies, business communities, local governments, industry organizations, academic circles, embassies in Japan, etc.), the Government and External Relations Division and its branch offices are promoting government and external relations activities with the aim of enhancing the corporate value of the Panasonic Group and improve its business environment by establishing trusting relationships with stakeholders, making proposals on policies, technologies, etc. to relevant government agencies, industry organizations, etc. jointly with operating companies, and taking approaches to realize our proposals.

Kansai External Relations Department

The Kansai External Relations Department Contributes to Business Operations by Supporting the Management Executives in charge of Activities Related to Government and External Relations, and Business Communities in the Kansai Area.

The Kansai External Relations Department supports the activities of Panasonic's management executives in charge of government and external relations, and business communities with the aim of contributing to the development of the Kansai area and its industry circle, and enhancing the corporate virtue of the Panasonic Group. We serve as the communication contact for stakeholders in the Kansai area, including economic organizations such as the Kansai Economic Federation and KANSAI Association of Corporate Executives, provide one-stop services by working with appropriate departments to satisfy diverse requests from inside and outside of the Panasonic Group, support the creation of new businesses by making use of connections, and thereby link operating companies.
