Features

80-inch wide screen images with a projection distance of 0.86m

Close range projection reduces not only shadows of the presenter but also glare of the projection light, making lectures and meetings less stressful.

High brightness of 2,500 lm and 10 W high-output speaker

High brightness of 2,500 lm ensures bright and easy-to-see image projection. The volume level of the 10 W high-output speaker is enough for meeting rooms and classrooms; you do not need to use an external speaker. You can make multi-media presentations (including audio presentations).

Lamp and air filter replacement cycle of up to 4,000 hours

The lamp replacement cycle of up to 4,000 hours*1. The air filter is constructed of three layers with different mesh sizes. The air filter replacement cycle is also 4,000 hours*2. Such replacement cycles reduce maintenance hassles, because longer periods of use translate to lower maintenance costs and environmental impact.

A wide variety of functions for easy setup

Auto Input Signal Search
The Auto Input Signal Search function automatically detects the input signal and selects the input channel based on the signal. This function lets you start a presentation without any complicated setup required.

Input Guidance Function
If the input signal cannot be detected, the Input Guidance function will display connection instructions on the projector screen, for easy setup.

Color-board and Blackboard modes
Color-board and Blackboard modes adjust the colors to provide high-quality projection possible in rooms that don&t have a screen.

Extensive interfaces with an HDMI input terminal

Extensive interfaces, including two sets of computer (RGB) input terminals (one set is switchable to output.) and an HDMI input terminal, allows a wide range of system configurations.

Easy remote control monitoring and control over a LAN

Web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status. An e-mail messaging function can also notify you when a lamp needs replacement, and indicate the overall projector status.

In addition, Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software is available for monitoring and controlling multiple Panasonic projectors from a single PC.

The wired LAN terminal is compatible with PJLink™(class1), an open protocol that is used by many manufacturers, to enable integrated control of systems that contain different brands of projectors.

Quiet 29-dB design does not interrupt meetings or classes

The quiet design keeps noise levels down to 29 dB,*3 so the sound of the cooling fan is hardly noticeable. This helps the audience to keep their attention on the speech when someone is giving a presentation or on the screen images during quiet scenes.

Enviromentally friendly standby power consumptions of only 0.42 W

When Standby mode is set to Eco,*4 the standby power consumption is low at 0.42 W. This lowers running costs, and helps to reduce environmental impact.

"Direct power off" right after use

The breaker in the room is directly turned off without operating the power switch of the ceiling-mounted projector. You can leave the room immediately after the meeting or the class.

Easy lamp and air filter replacement

For easier maintenance, you can replace the lamp from the top and the air filter from the back, even after the projector is installed on the ceiling. This eliminates the need to detach the projector from its mounting bracket in ceiling-mounted applications.

Other features

• Presentation support/control tools such as Presentation Timer, Freeze Function, and Digital Zoom

Note:
*1 This is the maximum value when the lamp power is set to Eco mode where the lamp is turned on for 2 hours and off for 0.25 hours. If the lamp is turned on more times or kept on for a long time, the lamp replacement cycle will shorten. In Normal mode, the lamp replacement cycle is 3,000 hours. The usage environment affects the duration of the lamp.
*2 With the lamp power set to Eco. The usage environment affects the duration of the filter.
*3 With the lamp power set to Eco.
*4 Standby mode: Eco. When Standby mode is set to Eco, network functions such as standby on via LAN are not available. Also, only certain commands can be received for external control using the serial terminal.
