I enjoy my work, it is a fundamental part of my life along with my family. I’m very proud to work with Panasonic. My ten-year-old son is starting to say, “when I grow up I want to work for Panasonic”, this is probably because when I leave for work in the morning I have a smile on my face.
● What is your favorite part of your job?
Being part of multinational company with solid core values and principles that allow one to be open to all cultural influences coming from every side of its wide footprint. I really enjoy managing the Aircon Team in Italy with open view and exchange to whole Panasonic Air-conditioning world. In Panasonic your perspective is open to the world whichever level or role you are in; and this is fantastic. On top of everything, I like to drive changes and to get closer to customers and stakeholders through strategic as well as tactical actions.

A typical Panasonic person is flexible and communicative. We love to work in international teams, have meetings to discuss projects and understand cultural differences. The people at Panasonic are one of the most important reasons to work for Panasonic, as they are not just colleagues but real friends for life.
● What led you to your current role at Panasonic?
I started as a student during my Master’s degree in International Business Administration. After I finished my studies, went straight into a real job at Panasonic and from there I just kept developing myself and my expertise. I was always open to new challenges and perhaps there’s also an element of being in the right place at the right time. The good thing about Panasonic is that if you are doing a good job, the company gives you many opportunities to develop and to stay as part of the family.
● What is your favorite part about your job?
What I love about my job is that every day is different and the projects I am working on are interesting and diverse. You can learn something new with each task, you can be creative, plan an event or even influence future product development. I work together with great people who I can enable and support to do what they are passionate about, which is very motivating and rewarding for me.

● Why did you choose Panasonic?
I started to work for Panasonic as a promoter. After few years I realized that Panasonic products are the top of the range and customers trust them. What I found most interesting at Panasonic is innovation. After a few years of promoting, I then joined as marketing person and discovered that there’s a transparent working environment. Furthermore, there is a balance between work and personal life and good career progression, where if you’re prepared to work hard it is recognized and rewarded. There is also a strong team spirit. With all these benefits, Panasonic is place where you can start and also finish your career, because there are so many opportunities, and huge possibilities inside the organization.
● What is your favorite part of your job?
My job is very exciting and interesting, because very few other careers offer such a combination of disciplines. Every new day brings new challenge and it’s never boring. There are also lots of learning opportunities and you can never manage to learn everything. I travel a lot, meet my colleagues from all around the world, I learn about new products, technologies, and innovations – then with my knowledge I help customers to find awesome Panasonic products that they didn’t realise would make their lives better.
● What's your favorite Panasonic moment?
For sure one of the most important moments for me at Panasonic was attending the Panasonic Convention (PanaCon) for the first time. I knew that Panasonic is strong company with great products, but seeing all of them at one place was totally amazing. There were also Panasonic trainers from all over Europe and people from factories – so my knowledge improved even more.

● What makes Panasonic a great place to work?
Panasonic is a big international corporation with a tradition of more than 100 years. All of us have the possibility to bring new ideas and experiences into the organization. My job in HR is very diverse and wide-ranging, from creating concepts, leading projects, coordinating, training and coaching. I especially enjoy working together with different personalities and learning something new every day.
● How do you describe Panasonic culture?
Here at the European Sales Headquarters of Panasonic Industry in Munich the culture is a mixture of tradition and innovation. Many different nationalities and experiences come together, take over responsibility and work as a team in order to reach common goals. Our company values, our “7 Panasonic Principles”, are the basis of our success. “People before Products” is one of them and it shows the importance of each one of us.
● What is your favorite part about your job?
I am happy to be one of our Basic Business Philosophy Trainers. I have the possibility to get to know all of our new employees and inspire them to follow our 7 Panasonic Principles, which means a positive, solution orientated and respectful communication. I enjoy improving and developing our organization and being part of a great team.
● What's one interesting fact about Panasonic that people might not know?
Our founder, Konosuke Matsushita, is famous like a pop star in Japan. One of his basis for behavior was “Sunao (untrapped or open) Mind”, which means to face everybody tolerantly without being selfish, influenced or prejudiced but rather to be open to the teachings of others and being able to find joy in any circumstances. His basis was from the 1930’s but it still reflects the spirit of Panasonic today.

● What's your favorite Panasonic moment?
It is difficult to select just one special moment. Changing my job from a company, where the Product Life Cycle of certain products is almost as old as me, I really enjoy the dynamic behind the Panasonic product range. Every year we get several new products and / or replace them. For the sales team this always means that we have to present these to the customer and also sell them. I really like this fast pace and the challenges as well as the opportunities that it brings.
● What makes Panasonic a great place to work?
A really important component is the great relationships with colleagues but I also love the products. What I learned in almost 8 years as a salesman, is that I only sell products very well if I am convinced about them and their functionality. This is 100% the case with our products. Panasonic stands for bringing out high quality products, combined with the newest technology. Introducing and selling these products to your customer is not only fun, but also makes you feel very proud.
● How do you describe your work to your friends and family?
This is a very good question, because I do get asked very often, exactly what I do. There is no day-to-day routine, so this does not make the description easy! But what I can say is that I am ‘the face of Panasonic’ to my customers. I am taking care of them and always trying my best to satisfy their wishes and also combine these with the Panasonic sales strategy. And that’s not always easy!
Christopher
Key Account Manager

● How would you best describe a Panasonic person?
Dedicated and proud of the Panasonic brand and products.
● What makes Panasonic a great place to work?
There are many things that make Panasonic stand out – its focus on innovation, strong work ethics, values and social responsibility among others. Panasonic also encourages us to take the initiative and implement new ideas; to focus not only on developing the business, but ourselves, too. However, it’s the family-like atmosphere and team spirit that really makes it great – I’m surrounded by amazing people who are always ready to share their knowledge, help and support me. They simply make work more fun.
● What is your favorite part of your job?
What I enjoy the most is the variety of my responsibilities, since it allows me to do something different almost every day and never feel bored. Working closely with international teams in Marketing, Sales, Planning and Logistics is also an amazing opportunity to keep learning new things and meeting new people. It’s challenging, but at the same time very rewarding.
● Describe Panasonic in just one word.
Innovative.
