Improving air quality in working space
with nanoe™ X technology
WORQ Coworking Space
Location: Klang Valley, Malaysia
Client: Incompleteness Theorem Sdn. Bhd.
WORQ - One of Malaysia's leading Flex-space operators with 4 locations across the Klang Valley collaborates
with Panasonic to give WORQ community the confidence to return to work by adopting nanoe™ X technology,
Panasonic’s patented air purification solution to create a safe working environment in all its outlets.
Challenge: Assuring Community with A Safe & Comfortable Coworking Space
As the country gradually moves into the endemic phase, more and more businesses are gradually returning to normal, and employees are also expected to return to work in the office. However, many people are still hesitant due to concerns about sharing enclosed
spaces with others.
For WORQ, the challenge is to assure those who feel hesitant to return to the office that their workplace is safe in all aspects. In addition to strict adherence to sanitizing, social distancing, and mask-wearing protocols, the community-centric coworking space also looked for measures to improve indoor air quality to minimize the risk of the COVID-19 virus spreading through airborne particles and droplets.
Solutions & Technology Applied
To address their challenges, WORQ implemented Panasonic nanoe™ X technology by installing air-e ceiling-mounted nanoe™ X generator and portable nanoe™ X generator in all WORQ coworking space outlets located at Glo Damansara TTDI, UOA Business Park Subang, KL Gateway Bangsar South and Surian Tower Mutiara Damansara.
Panasonic nanoe™ X technology offers the benefits of hydroxyl radicals (also known as OH radicals) contained in water and has the capacity to inhibit bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants as well as deodorise odours. The nano-sized particles of nanoe™ X allow for deep penetration into soft furnishings like fabric, sofas, and carpets. nanoe™ technology is proven to effectively inhibit more than 99%* of novel coronavirus.
With the added protection of Panasonic nanoe™ X technology, WORQ community can now return to their workplace to work productively in a safe and comfortable environment without concerns about the risks of contracting the virus in a shared working space.

“With the installation of Panasonic air-e nanoe™ X generator and portable nanoe™ X generator in WORQ, my staff feels safe and confident coming back to work,” says one WORQ member, Jolene Chan, who is the human resource manager and administrator of Segnel Creative Sdn Bhd.
“As a coworking space, nothing is more important than the safety and comfort of our community. We are happy that Panasonic nanoe™ X technology gives us the boost in our safety measures to complement our strict safety guidelines. We want all our community members to be assured that WORQ is a safe and healthy place to be and they can work productively while enjoying the facilities provided here,” says Stephanie Ping and Andrew Yeow, founders of WORQ.

*Based on Panasonic verification test in collaboration with the Japan Textile Products Quality and Technology Center (QTEC), the virus titers of novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and its four variants (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta) were compared in a 45-liter test space with and without exposure to nanoe™. As a result, the test confirmed an inhibitory effect of more than 99% on all five types of viruses after two hours of exposure. Note that the verification results are based on the test in a closed test environment and not in a space actually in use.
