Fall in Love Macarons
What else could be better than handmade a beautiful and delicious heart shaped French Macarons to express your love? Paired with unique German Buttercream, perfect sweet treat for your valentine.
Ingredients
- 45 gUnsalted Butter
- 10 gInstant Custard Powder
- 30 gCaster Sugar
- 35 gGround Almond
- 30 gIcing Sugar
- 1Egg White
- 25 mlMilk
- 1 dropFood Colouring
Steps
1) Whip egg white into stiff peak form and add caster sugar gradually, then add 1 drop of red colouring.
2) Add Ground Almond & Icing Sugar and mix evenly.
3) Transfer into piping bag and pipe into 12 heart shapes.
4) Flatten the heart shapes and reshape.
5) Place in the middle rack of 4-in-1 Combi Steam Microwave Oven NN-CS89LBMPQ, dry the macarons at 40°C, Convection mode, 30 minutes until you get a dry surface.
6) Continue to bake after drying, bake at 130°C, Convection mode, 17 minutes.
7) Mix instant custard powder with milk and soften butter with mixer. Pour instant custard powder with milk into it. Mix evenly.
8) Pipe on to top of 6 macarons, then stick the other 6 on top.
