The compact LEICA DG SUMMILUX 15mm / F1.7 ASPH. allows you to capture supreme snapshots with beautiful depth produced by the F1.7 max aperture. Certified with the name of world-renowned LEICA, the exceptional high image quality is guaranteed. The new lens system comprising of 9 elements in 7 groups uses 3 aspherical lenses. The aspherical lenses suppress spherical aberration and distortion effectively while realising downsizing of the lens unit.
Nano Surface Coating (NSC)
Put an end to unwanted ghosting and flaring with Nano Surface Coating. This special, ultra-thin coating was developed by Panasonic to reduce reflections across the entire light spectrum giving crystal-clear pictures even if you’re photographing a light source in the dark.
Ideal for Video Recording
The lens includes a newly developed stepping motor with smooth autofocus, as well as smooth aperture changes perfect for video recording.

The optimised configuration has 9 elements in 7 groups, including 3 lenses to minimise aberrations and ensure superb resolution.
H-X015 MTF Chart
The H-X015 lens meets the strict optical standards set by Leica Camera AG and provides outstanding sharpness and resolution from the centre to the edges of the frame.
