Compact body, full creative control
A compact form for everyday use with intuitive analog controls. Enjoy the tactile feel of the dials and rings, and compose through the viewfinder. It balances minimal design with responsive handling.
Flat, compact body for everyday carry
Weighing approx. 508g, this compact body features a 4/3-type back-illuminated (BSI) CMOS image sensor, a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens, and a high-resolution viewfinder. The flat design fits comfortably in your hand, capturing everyday moments in high quality.
Direct, intuitive control
Analog controls designed for intuitive use. Dials, levers, and buttons are placed within easy reach, so you can operate without taking your eyes off the subject. Smooth, stable dial operation is possible even with one hand.
Comfortable, reliable grip
Even with its flat profile, front and rear grips provide a confident hold. The form fits in your hand, even when shooting vertically, supporting a variety of shooting styles.
Carefully designed layout
Every detail has been carefully considered, from the placement and height of buttons and dials to the shape of the lever and the feel of the control dial. The result is a layout that remains easy to handle, even with one hand.
LUT button
Simply press the LUT button to access the settings and apply your unique colour style directly to your photos and videos. It also supports parameter adjustments and Photo Style settings.
Top and rear dials
The top dial is finely machined from solid metal for a precise finish. The top and rear dials can be assigned to settings such as shutter speed, exposure compensation, and ISO.
Photo/Video/S&Q switch
Switch between photo and video modes to bring up menus and Quick Menus optimised for each. Function button settings can also be customised independently for photo and video.
Controls that support your creativity
Aperture ring
Precision-machined from solid metal, the lens barrel features a high quality finish. A front-positioned aperture ring lets you intuitively control the light entering the lens, even while looking through the viewfinder.
Control ring
Assign functions such as exposure compensation and ISO sensitivity setting to match your shooting style for smooth, responsive control. When set to manual focus, the ring also enables intuitive focus adjustment.
Fn switch
Assign frequently used shooting settings, such as Step Zoom and Photo Style, to the Fn switch on the top of the lens barrel. This allows you to quickly access the desired setting while expanding your creative options.
Focus selector switch
The focus selector switch on the side of the lens barrel lets you choose between AF, AF Macro, and MF with a single touch. You can quickly select the right mode for precise focus, even during shooting.
Viewfinder and monitor for flexible shooting

Featuring an OLED live view finder with approx. 2.36 million dots, it delivers an immersive shooting experience while ensuring smooth, comfortable framing outdoors.

1.84 million-dot free-angle monitor
The approx. 1.84 million-dot free-angle monitor supports shooting from a wide range of angles, from ground-level low shots to high-angle shots with your arms raised, expanding your shooting possibilities. A vertical shooting user interface ensures a smooth and comfortable shooting experience.
