The LUMIX G9II's uncompromising image quality captures your decisive moments in ultra-realistic detail that makes you feel you’re there. The new 25.2MP Live MOS sensor with Phase Detection AF delivers richer tonal expression, with a significant improvement in capturing shadows when shooting in RAW. With no low-pass filter, its design allows both for more pixels and higher resolution, and the ISO100 setting is ideal for outdoor shooting. In addition, its higher readout speed delivers C4K/4K 120p video recording and 75 fps burst shooting using the electronic shutter, while also minimizing rolling shutter distortion.

Dynamic Range Boost
Experience the power of Dynamic Range Boost featuring sensor-based HDR tech that blends two brightness levels in a single exposure, delivering rich tonal range and sharper shadow and highlight detail. In stills, it enhances shadow tones for RAW editing. In video, enjoy a stunning 13+-stop dynamic range and wide colour gamut with V-Log/VGamut recording.

100MP Handheld High Resolution Mode
Experience incredible resolution and dynamic range with the G9II's High Resolution Mode! Capture stunning 100MP shots of natural landscapes and detailed art without a tripod. Our Body Image Stabiliser (B.I.S.) shifts the sensor while taking consecutive shots, then auto-synthesises them into a 100-megapixel (11,552 x 8,672-pixel) file. Access RAW, JPEG, or both files instantly via the drive mode dial – no software required.

LEICA Monochrome
Leica is well known for its superior picture quality and has a reputation from users all over the world for its outstanding depiction and expressiveness. Through our L2 Technology collaboration, we learned the picture-making philosophy that Leica has built up over its long history and realized this mode as one of the new expressiveness of the LUMIX camera. It features deep contrasts between black and white.

REAL TIME LUT
Add your own favourite colour styles, film simulations or colour corrections to your photo and videos in camera with Real Time LUT. The is no need for software editing Real Time LUT bake the colour into your JPEG's or Video so that you can view in camera, and share while on the go.
Live View Composite
Make the impossible, possible with Live view composite allowing you to capture in 1 image, movements of lights like stars without over exposing the landscape. Live view composite removes the guess work during long exposure photography, allowing you to watch the exposure build up in camera and end the capture when you have the desired result.
Time Lapse Video with 4K 60p/50p
The LUMIX G9II supports interval capture to create time lapse video in the camera body itself and is also capable of 4K 60p/50p. Still photos can also be shot with V-Log or Like709 for outstanding handling in post-production. Exposure smoothing takes place during processing, resulting in beautiful time lapse videos with smooth exposure changes.
