Panasonic will continue as the Official Air Conditioning Partner of the Supercars, and extends its association as the presenting partner of the Supercars starting grid segment on race broadcasts
After a strong 2023, Supercars are excited to announce that Panasonic will continue to ensure that the Supercars grid stays cool while the action heats up across the upcoming Championship.
Paul Reid, Managing Director, Panasonic Australia, said: “Over the last 12 months we’ve enjoyed the excitement of Supercars firsthand and have shared some memorable experiences with our business partners and customers from Bathurst to Perth and beyond.” “As Panasonic enters our second year as Official Air Conditioning Partner of Supercars, we are looking forward to ramping up our marketing and hospitality activity across the season ahead.”
Supercars’ Head of Sales and Sponsorships Craig Dontas expressed his excitement for the season ahead and the continuing relationship with Panasonic. “Supercars are pleased to continue our association and partnership with Panasonic Air Conditioning,” Dontas said. “The team at Supercars take great pride in building sustainable and long-term relationships with brands like Panasonic.” “2023 was a successful first year of our partnership, and in 2024 we will be looking to grow what we do with Panasonic across our broadcast, B2B offering and at our events with an all-new fan experience. We can’t wait.”
Panasonic is well known as a global giant in the consumer electronics market. The company’s air conditioning range includes both wall split and ducted air conditioning systems, as well as its Nanoe X 24-hour air purifying system to ensure healthier and fresher air in the home.
The Panasonic Starting Grid will make its 2024 debut this weekend at the Thrifty Bathurst 500, and will be seen on the screens of Seven and Foxtel from February 23-25.
