What is a LUT?

A LUT (Look Up Table) is like a color filter that numerically changes the color tones of photos and videos.
Like a “color recipe,” once you create a LUT and save it, you can apply the same color tones to other photos and videos with a single tap.

Create and Save LUTs

In addition to basic brightness and contrast adjustments, a wide variety of editing options are available, including tone curves, HSL adjustments (individual adjustment of hue, saturation, and luminance), and color adjustments for highlights and shadows. Editing results can be saved as a LUT. Photos and videos shot with non-LUMIX cameras or smartphones can also be edited in the same way.

Add effects such as grain and sharpness to LUTs. Easily reproduce the grainy texture of film cameras digitally, enabling more distinctive and unique expression.

REAL TIME LUT

Transfer LUTs to the camera and shoot while checking the color tones on your monitor or viewfinder. Since photos and videos are saved with the LUT applied, this eliminates the need for post-production color adjustments.

RAW Editing

Edit and export RAW files taken with compatible LUMIX models* for free. Take advantage of RAW's wide dynamic range for finer color adjustments—correct overexposed highlights or underexposed shadows even after shooting. The Photo Style can also be changed after shooting.

S&Q (Slow & Quick) Video Creation

Easily achieve up to 5x slow-motion or up to 10x Quick (time-lapse style) effects. You can also adjust the speed for each segment, creating impressive visuals with varied pacing.

Photo Frame

Add a frame to your photos to express your unique worldview. You can create and save original frames by customizing the color, size, Exif information, text, and more. Share your creative details such as shooting location, equipment information, and the LUTs you used.

Transfer Photos and Videos

Easily transfer data from your camera to your smartphone. In addition to wireless connection via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi*1, wired connection via USB cable is also available*2. Supports major formats including RAW, JPEG, HEIF, and MP4. By turning on the automatic photo transfer function*3, photos and videos (MP4 Lite only) can be transferred automatically to your smartphone every time you shoot.

*1 Supports 5GHz Wi-Fi. Depending on the law of your country, outdoor use of 5GHz Wi-Fi is prohibited.

Remote Shooting

Control your camera remotely through Wi-Fi while displaying live view on your smartphone screen. You can control basic settings such as exposure and white balance, focus and shutter release, and more from the app.

Live Streaming

Operate through your smartphone with a Bluetooth connection to live stream camera video and audio to the Internet. You can stream to any video sharing site that supports RTMP/RTMPS*.

*Live streaming communication protocol. Only RTMPS is supported in Europe.

Firmware Update

Update your camera firmware via LUMIX Lab. Update to the latest firmware anytime, anywhere without the hassle of using a computer, and receive update notifications within the app.

To perform an update via the app, LUMIX Lab Ver. 3.0.0 is required. A memory card must also be inserted in the camera, and the camera firmware must be updated to the versions listed below (or later):
