What is iAUTO-X and How Does it Work?
Panasonic air conditioner with iAUTO-X uses Panasonic Thermal Enhancement Technology (P-TECh) to enable the compressor to achieve maximum frequency during start up, then automatically adjusts the fan to high speed to deliver cool air across the entire room.

iAUTO-X Mode:

Normal COOL Mode
Cool air blows downwards and cools the room at a slower pace, resulting in uneven cooling in the room.

At start-up, iAUTO-X automatically adjusts fan speed accordingly between medium fan speed, high fan speed, and super high fan speed depending on the temperature difference of the room and the set temperature.
Initial Operation - Super High Fan Speed
Once iAUTO-X is turned ON, the fan will run at super high speed to cool the room at a faster rate.
Approaching Set Temperature - High Fan Speed
The air conditioner measures the room’s temperature and automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the difference between the current room temperature and set temperature.
Upon Reaching Set Temperature - Medium Fan Speed
Subsequently, the air conditioner constantly measures and automatically regulates the fan speed until it reaches the set temperature.
Automatic Flap Control
When the air conditioner is turned on and iAUTO-X mode is activated, the iAUTO-X directs airflow downward, rapidly providing concentrated cool air. Once the room is sufficiently cool, the airflow automatically switches to ceiling airflow.
During Start-up
Cold air blows out strongly on start-up, to cool you down in the shortest time possible.
Upon Reaching Set Temperature
When the room reaches the set temperature, the air conditioner’s flap automatically adjusts itself upwards towards the ceiling. This directs airflow upwards and across the room so that cool air can shower down gently to avoid direct chills and overcooling.
Reactivate iAUTO-X at Any Time
The iAUTO-X mode can be reactivated any time. Whenever the room feels a little warmer,
press on the iAUTO-X button again to reactivate the iAUTO-X mode.

How to activate iAUTO-X
Activate iAUTO-X easily with remote controller or mobile device via Panasonic Comfort Cloud App.
Activate iAUTO-X with remote controller
Press the iAUTO-X button on the remote control to switch on both air conditioner and iAUTO-X mode. Upon reaching stable operation, reactivate iAUTO-X anytime with another press to enjoy instant cooling again.
Activate iAUTO-X via the Panasonic Comfort Cloud Mobile App
Tap the “i” button from the operation mode menu in the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App to activate iAUTO-X mode.
*To activate iAUTO-X mode with mobile devices, the air conditioner needs to be connected to the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App and an internet connection is required.
