Detected blurring caused by vertical or horizontal wrist movements is corrected using a lens in the optical system.
For Zooming
Areas of the sensor that are not used for zooming are electronically controlled to compensate for hand-shake.
Auto O.I.S. Lock
The camera detects a scene that needs stronger stabilization (when zooming, for example), and automatically activates O.I.S. Lock. This increases the compensation area over previous models, and provides more stable images.
