Add Your Unit to the Comfort Cloud App with a Commercial WLAN Adaptor
Connect your new air conditioner to the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App using commercial WLAN adaptor. This gives you improved control and monitoring of your units across multiple business locations.
What you need to get started:
Sign in to the Comfort Cloud App
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Commercial air conditioner”.
Step 3
Choose “WLAN Adaptor”.
Step 4
Choose CZ-CAPWFC2 WLAN adaptor.
If you have a CZ-CAPWFC1, see the steps for adding your unit with the CZ-CAPWFC1.
Step 5
Prepare the instruction manual at hand.
Tap “Scan QR code”.
Step 6
Allow the app to access your camera.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 7
Scan the QR code on the remote instruction manual.
Step 8
Allow app to use Bluetooth.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 9
Allow the app to access your precise location while using the app.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 10
1.Prepare the WLAN adaptor.
2.Press and hold the “SETUP” button for 5 secs.
3.Release the button when the “LINK” LED blinks once.
4.Tap “Next” button on the app screen.
Step 11
Your WLAN adaptor is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 12
Enter Wireless LAN router password and tap “Connect”.
Step 13
Create password and then tap “Register”.
*As the first user, you need to create a new password for the air conditioner. This password will be required when adding an additional user.
Step 14
Set air conditioner name and then tap “Register”.
Once registration is complete, tap “Start Using”.
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Commercial air conditioner”.
Step 3
Choose “WLAN Adaptor”.
Step 4
Choose CZ-CAPWFC1 WLAN adaptor.
If you have a CZ-CAPWFC2, see the steps for adding your unit with the CZ-CAPWFC2.
Step 5
Check if the “POWER LED” on the WLAN adaptor is “ON”. Tap “Next”.
*The “POWER LED” is “ON” when its LED is continuously lit but not blinking.
Step 6
Select option that matches with status of “LINK LED”.
Since the air conditioner is a new unit, the LED should be OFF/blinking.
Tap “LED is OFF/blinking”.
Step 7
1. Press and hold the “SETUP” button for 10 seconds.
2. Release the “SETUP” button when the “LINK LED” blinks twice.
3. Tap “Next” when the “LINK LED” starts to blink continuously.
Step 8
Allow the app to access your precise location while using the app.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 9
A pop-up for "Settings" might appear. Tap it to access your Wi-Fi settings. Make sure your smartphone/tablet’s Wi-Fi is connected to
“Panasonic-XX-wirelessAP”.
or you might see a message asking "Comfort Cloud" Wants to Join Wi-Fi Network "Panasonic-XX-wirelessAP”?. If so, tap "Join".
It should connect automatically without password.
Step 10
The unit will connect to the same wireless connection as your smartphone/tablet.
Enter the Wireless LAN router password and tap “OK”.
Step 11
Connection is successful when “LINK LED” is “ON”. Then tap “Next”.
*Solid color (not blinking) means "ON". LED light color may vary depending on your model.
Step 12
Please wait while the app is searching for the air conditioner.
Step 13
Select the air conditioner for registration and tap “Register”.
Step 14
Press “SETUP” and tap “Next”.
Step 15
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 16
Create password and then tap “Register”.
*As the first user, you need to create a new password for the air conditioner. This password will be required when adding an additional user.
Step 17
Set air conditioner name and then tap “Register”.
