The LUMIX S1II's 1,840k dots 3.0-inch LCD monitor features a flexible movable mechanism that combines both tilt and free-angle mechanisms. For still photography, the tilt mechanism allows you to move the monitor up and down along the optical axis, enabling comfortable framing.
The LUMIX S1II also offers exceptional convenience when it comes to video production. When setting up with accessories such as rigs, the monitor can be rotated freely while tilted without interfering with HDMI or USB cables.

5,760k-dot OLED Real View Finder
The LUMIX S1II's viewfinder features a resolution of 5,760k dots, offering clarity that rivals your own eyesight. Its OLED display provides superb response speed along with exceptional clarity and sharpness, making it reliable for capturing fast-moving subjects. Additionally, the high-contrast display (approximately 10,000:1) presents subjects with fine gradations and high clarity. The snug-fitting eyecups further enhance the immersive experience.

The LUMIX S1II, which was designed with a focus on operability as a hybrid model, allows you to toggle between photo and video modes at the touch of a switch. Not only are there menus optimised for each mode and a Quick Menu, but you can also use the function buttons to customise settings for photos and videos respectively.
Save and restore camera settings via memory card
Save camera settings onto a memory card and quickly transfer them to other compatible cameras*. This simplifies applying consistent settings across multiple cameras and significantly reduces setup time for multi-camera shoots. It ensures consistent image quality and enables a smooth workflow.

Consistent controls for vertical and horizontal shots
Battery grip DMW-BG2 (sold separately)
The battery grip offers the same grip and operability as the camera body. Equipped with a shutter button, dial, 8-way joystick, and more, it facilitates intuitive operation just like in the horizontal position, even when shooting vertically.
Extend the tele-end seamlessly
Crop Zoom / Hybrid Zoom
Crop Zoom extends the zoom range by utilising the center of the sensor. Hybrid Zoom, which combines optical zoom with Crop Zoom, allows you to seamlessly extend the telephoto end while using the only normal zoom ring. This functionality expands your creative possibilities, even when you’re carrying minimal equipment.
Support for using the focus ring as a control ring
The focus ring can now be used as a control ring*, enabling you to assign key functions such as aperture and exposure compensation. When set to the Crop Zoom, it allows smooth extension of the telephoto range. The ring’s rotation direction is also selectable*, giving you the freedom to adjust handling to match your shooting style and camera setup.
*The following lenses are compatible as of June 2025: S-R2060, S-E2460, S-R24105, S-X50. Please make sure your lenses are using the latest firmware.
