It is a coined word with the image of benefit (Vacuum insulation provides excellent benefits.) provided by vacuum insulation technology. (Applying for trademark registration)
VIXELL specifications/how to use
There are only two types at the moment. While we would like to expand the lineup based on feedback from business partners in the future.
Yes, it is. The vacuum insulation cooling box VIXELL consists of a vacuum insulation casing and a thermal storage unit for storing pharmaceuticals. It is possible to accommodate various temperature zones by changing the thermal storage unit in the vacuum insulation housing.
It is exclusive to VIXELL. The heat storage unit comes with a set of heat storage agents specified by us according to the temperature range. However, dry ice is not included.
Please use the thermal storage unit exclusively for VIXELL. In order to maximize the cooling capacity of the VIXELL, the layout of the medicine chest and the thermal storage agent is taken into consideration, so that the cooling performance cannot be guaranteed for any use other than the thermal storage unit specified by our company.
No, they are not included.
It passes the 6-FedEx-A drop test* specified by ISTA (International Safety Transport Association), while please mark the box as fragile and handle with care.
[*Drop 1-corner, 3-side, and 6-side from a height of approx. 760 mm above the floor.]
Please be mindful that the Type-L dry ice models are evaluated using internal standards, not ISTA.
This product has passed our internal standards and the evaluation specified by ISTA, assuming that it can be used in aircraft, and is considered to be sufficiently durable for normal delivery.
For drugs and vaccines.
We have a mechanism to release the air pressure increased by dry ice. However, please refrain from using VIXELL in an environment where the outside temperature exceeds 40℃, or together with the heat source with dry ice so that the dry ice may sublimate rapidly.
We recommend temperature range from 15℃ to 25℃ for high temperature use. For low temperature use, it is recommended to use the dry ice band (-70℃ or below).
We are not taking those into our consideration at the moment. We may evaluate upon requests.
Available in Europe, America, etc. Please contact us for countries/regions other than those listed on the left.
Not available.
The quality of insulation performance cannot be confirmed during transportation. The on-site inspection device is only used to inspect the insulation performance of VIXELL before using it.
VIXELL technology features
The urethane used in VIXELL is a special urethane designed for vacuum insulation.
This was achieved by combining the technology cultivated in resin molding and urethane foaming for refrigerators with the technology for handling the invisible vacuum of vacuum insulation panels. (Our proprietary technology)
Uses Near Field Communication (NFC). Because it uses a wireless power supply method, there is no need for a power supply inside the VIXELL main unit.
The cold storage time is evaluated at an ambient temperature of 30°C. In higher temperature environments, the cooling time may be shortened. Please do not leave your device unattended for long periods of time, especially under direct sunlight or inside a car in the summer, as the temperature may reach higher than expected.
Although it is difficult to make general statements as it varies depending on the usage environment, we assume that the expected lifespan can be maintained at a level of several years.
