Highly insulated structure/Long time cold retention

Improved cold storage performance enables long-distance and long-distance transportation

VIC (Vacuum Insulation Case) is adopted for the core of insulation layer of the box. Joint-free design of the VIC prevents cold air from escaping, resulting in keeping -75±15℃ for 18 days.

* The performance test was conducted with the Type-L box(AE-V12UXR) with Dry-ice unit(AE-V12DXR) by filling in 34Kg dry-ice under the ambient temperature of 30℃.

A temperture cycle test specified by the International Safe Transportation Assosiation (ISTA) was conducted by an external evaluation organization.

The graph shows  that inner box temperature of 2-8℃ was kept more than 120 hours by Type-S box (AE-V06GXR) with thermal insulation unit (AE-V06C5R) .

Strength/durability

Prevents damage during shipping and transportation

The envelope of VIC is 3-10 times thicker than conventional VIPs so that it has high durability & mitigates the damage during transportation.

The resin of VIP/VIC tends to be fragile when it gets cold. In the transportation with dry-ice unit, as long as dry-ice stays in between inner box & VIC, there is little chance for the inner box to hit the VIC. Once dry-ice is evaporated, however, the inner box starts moving around and it might hit the VIC which might cause the serious deterioration of insulation performance. The inner box of VIXELL has spacers on its around to mitigate the risk to cause such damage on VIC even if dry-ice is evaporated.

A various tests were conducted for Vixell boxes in accordance with ISTA-6-FedEx-A.

A various tests were conducted for VIXELL Pallet & Container  in ccordance with ASTM D4169.

Reliability

Mitigate the risk of temperature deviation from the threshold

Wireless Vacuum sensor unit is embedded with VIXELL at the bottom of VIC. The insulation performance can be instantly checked by placing the VIXELL on the inspection board.

It is well known that the insulation performance of VIP boxes will be reduced according to the time of usage or invisible damage during transportation.

Thanks to this sensor & inspection board,  you can check the insulation performance of VIXELL instantly and ship the temperature sensitive products with confidence.

Ease fo handling

4 kind of thermal insulation units are available for a VIXELL Box

Depending on the kind of pharmaceutical, the appropriate temperature zone is defined and regulated for transportation.

Some cooling boxes requires to change the whole set of box

cccording to the temperature zones. In case of VIXELL, however, you can choose right thermal insulation box from 4 different temperature zones, namely -75±15°C,  -25°C ~ -15°C, 2°C - 8°C, and 15°C - 25°C and put it into a VIC box which is common for all units.

This is environment friendly and efficient in operation.

Tracking device intimacy

Metal-free design enables to collect inner temperature data & location of the box and communicate with cloud

VIC allows tracking devices such as data logger to communicate with cloud.  The record of temperature data inside of the box as well as geographical positioning are uploaded to the cloud as VIC has metal-free which enables radio waives to pass through the box for communication. With this design, the real-time monitoring  of the temperature and location of the box can be possible even during transportation.
