To remove the bacteria concealed in periodontal pockets that cause periodontal disease with a toothbrush, the tips of the bristles must be able to enter the narrow pockets.
With Panasonic's original Extra Fine Brush, the tips of the bristles, which are only approx. 0.02mm in diameter, are designed to reach just 3mm into periodontal pockets.
Sonic vibrations
The brush vibrates at a rotational speed of approx. 31,000 strokes/min for fine, high-speed brush movement.
Minute, high-speed vibrations thoroughly remove plaque from periodontal pockets while minimizing the burden on teeth and gums.
Two selectable brushing modes
Select the REGULAR mode for normal brushing or the SOFT mode for softer brushing.
Soft start function
Starts brushing with gentle stimulation so that stimulation isn't suddenly strong.
30-seconds brush timer*¹
Temporarily stops brushing approx. every 30 seconds to provide a reference for brushing time.
