Japan Quality
Panasonic Washing Machines
As an authentic Japanese brand, Panasonic does not compromise on quality, paying close attention to every detail in both design and manufacturing. We create products that provide peace of mind and can be trusted as lifelong partners by customers around the world.
Craftsmanship
Reliable performance, driven by precision and care.
Expert craftsmanship replicated through advanced technology.
Panasonic’s craftsmanship and attention to detail, honed over more than 100 years of manufacturing, live on through our advanced digital technology. To ensure quality and consistently high performance across all our washing machines, we also conduct inspections by hand and eye.

Shaft mounting axis within 0.2% accuracy.*
Maintaining stable rotation of the washing tub requires extremely high technical capabilities. We minimise vibration by placing the rotation axis precisely at the drum’s centre, demonstrating one of the many ways Panasonic stands apart from the rest.
* This is the standard value at the Shizuoka factory.

Never compromise on what you can’t see.
The spider shaft plays a critical role in drum rotation. To ensure long-lasting performance and durability, we apply a special rust-resistant coating. This attention to detail is what defines Panasonic quality.
Environment
Conditions vary from country to country.
Built to perform in heat, cold, and everything in between.
Washing machines are used in a variety of environments, depending on the household. In addition to temperature and humidity, water pressure and water quality can also vary. To ensure consistent washing performance, Panasonic tests its products under a wide range of real-world conditions.

Tested under extreme conditions, hot and cold.
With summer temperatures that can exceed 50°C, the Middle East is one example of the harsh environments where our washing machines are used. To prevent performance issues, we conduct thorough testing under simulated conditions, including extreme heat, high humidity, and cold climates.

Adapts to changes in water pressure and quality.
In addition to considering how water pressure fluctuates with floor level and elevation, we test our products extensively to ensure that clothes can be washed effectively in a variety of water conditions, including soft and hard water, cloudy water, and water with high salt concentrations found in coastal regions.
Durability
An everyday essential, made to last.
Tested to the limit in every way.
We are committed to making products that can withstand the various types of damage that occur in everyday life. We conduct impact resistance and UV durability tests not only on the main unit, but also on accessories such as drain hoses to confirm that they are resistant to wear and tear and cracking. We deliver only products that pass our rigorous testing.

Prevents damage from inner leaks.
We use not only water, but also detergent and salt water to confirm that no liquid can get through any gaps between precision parts. The circuit board is made of non-flammable materials, flame retardants, and double fuses, providing double and triple protection to enhance safety.

Tough enough for everyday use.
In anticipation of accidental damage, the glass lid undergoes rigorous impact resistance testing with a heavy iron ball. Additionally, to simulate long-term use, the door is opened and closed over 20,000 times* to confirm long-term durability without defects.
* This is the standard value at the Shizuoka factory.
Diversity
A world of different cultures, clothes, and stains.
Catering to unique cleaning needs around the world.
Through many years of research into the cultures and lifestyles of various countries, we have developed cleaning courses tailored to different types of stains and regional needs. We have also collected clothing and detergents from around the world to verify that they can be washed without damaging the fabric, regardless of the combination.

For traditional clothing of various regions.
Our washing machines for the Middle East feature courses specifically for traditional garments such as thobes and abayas, an example of how we tailor our products regionally. To deepen our understanding, we also have conducted joint research with a leading Japanese manufacturer specialising in thobe fabrics.

Effective with all kinds of detergents and softeners.
To ensure compatibility with our washing machines, we test a wide variety of liquid detergents and softeners. For our automatic dispensing models in Asia, we collected over 100 types of liquid laundry products from each country and verified the appropriate usage amounts.
A lifelong partner for your home.
No matter where you are in the world, Panasonic washing machines deliver reliable quality day after day.
Built to be a lasting partner in your everyday life.

With over 100 years of trusted manufacturing expertise, Panasonic technology continues to evolve.
