Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Season 9
Manila, Philippines —In continuation of Panasonic’s branding shift to lifestyle, Panasonic and Manila Fashion Festival once again shaped the world-class fashion industry that weaves high technology and high fashion together as one. With this season’s theme, “Shape, Form and Movement” PMFF Season 9 aims to create a fashion movement that will make a stronger force that will change the way fashion is presented and celebrated in the Philippines.
Held at The Marquee Tent, Edsa Shangri-La Manila last October 16-19, 2018. PMFF Season 9 kicked start the local fashion scene as known industry players in beauty, fashion, film and digital content creation shared their knowledge and experiences with their respective fields through the “Lifestyle Talks” which was held before the runway shows.
As the first day of the highly anticipated festival commenced, expectant guests filled the venue with their own stylish and fashionable runway ready looks.
The evening show then opens with an AVP highlighting the dynamic collaboration of technology and lifestyle as Panasonic products such as Beauty, Television and Lumix Digital Cameras delves into the fashion industry.
Emerging and established fashion designers from the local and international scenes enthused the spectators with their couture expertise as they graced the runway with their stunning ensembles. The audiences had the chance to feast their eyes on the artistic craftsmanship of our local designers from Manila, Cebu and Davao; as well as international participants from Australia, Korea, Japan and Laos.
Another highlight for this season aside from the much-awaited runway shows is the awarding for the Face of the Philippines winners. After series of workshops and challenges, aspiring models all over the Philippines braved the night with their poised and elegant stride on the runway. Audiences were truly amazed with their head turning performances believing that every participants have a bright future as professional models.
Apart from the extravagant runway shows, guests also had the chance to experience how fashion was integrated to technology and lifestyle with different booths located at the venue. A digital art gallery was place on the entrance area highlighting the exquisite Panasonic products while giving the audiences a preview of the fashion festival. Lumix digital cameras and Panasonic Beauty products for makeover were also displayed for them to enjoy. Guests were also able to channel the inner-model in them as they posed for the Panasonic Pink Studio, achieving the Instagram worthy photos.
From backstage to the runway shows, fashion and technology truly expressed a great and diverse collaboration for a better presentation and appreciation of the Philippine fashion to a larger scale. With Panasonic’s goal to shape innovation, the pursuit for a better life and a better world will continue as we provide a lifestyle that will be a fit for everyone.
