In 2013, with the DMC-GX7, Panasonic introduced a Body I.S. (Image Stabilizer) for the first time in LUMIX Digital Single Lens Mirrorless (DSLM) cameras.

With its high-resolution viewfinder which could be swiveled upwards, its flexible touch screen and its extremely fast shutter speed up to1/8000, the DMC-GX7 set new standards.

Finally, in 2015, the world’s first 6-control image stabilization system Dual I.S. was realized with its successor the DMC-GX8. Dual I.S. was yet another technical innovation in the LUMIX range.
